Good but easy

Well lets start on a good piont it was awesome in that it had a lot of units, upgrades, etc. I liked this, it gave good variety and plenty to do. That was what mostly made the game for me, although it could do with a few more units. However, yes, it was too easy, and I'm not talking about just the first lavels, I'm talking about the whole game. I only had to restart a couple of times because I wasn't keeping up with the research. But still, this was an awesome game, and deserves a 10, definetly. I also liked that you could choose which shot to fire, and that it costed money, thus preventing bullet spams. However, you should be able to fire them at naval units. Talking about naval units, there weren't enough, make different types like PT boats, destroyers, cruisers, battleships etc... maybe even subs. Or maybe even aircraft carriers, which could launch aircraft from a closer distance. Also the bullet selection thing should have been more clear, as I only found out about it in the later levels, if I knew that from the start it could have saved my restarts. Also on the "things to improve" list are that there should be transport helicopters which transport troops/tanks further up the battlefield. There is a lot more potential out of this, but it is still a 10 from me.

Great game!

Awesome man this rocks, good music, lots of items, lots of enemies, lots of maps... I could go on for a while. I managed to get to wave 148 (on 5K start, ground only), but after that I just couldn't stand all the masses of enemies! Perhaps It might be better to make more time between waves, or even unlimited time and just have a "next wave" button when you're ready. If you're going to do that though, make an option to automaticly go when the wave is cleared, because on the set maze modes (were you build a maze at the start and it's fixed), Players might want to just go and have a peice of toast or something while it's playing (as you don't have to micro manage in those modes). The different maps were also good, and I like the fact that you can have ground only if you want, but perhaps You might want to have air only modes as well. So, improvements:

*More wave time/unlimited and automatic option (like I said).
*Air only modes (like I said).
*Maybe more enemy types, if you can think of them. I have some more ideas, so ask me if you can't think of many more.
*Also more tower types (I have ideas for those as well).
*Maybe a few more maps?
*Sandbox mode (were you get unlimited cash and you can just experiment)
*At the start, You should definetly have a "go" button rather than just starting the countdown.
*If you're felling ambitious, try online multiplayer (see the game "starland multiplayer TD" to see how that would work. It should still have single player as well though)

And I think that's about it. I would like to see a sequal, and I think you should make one because it would be awesome, especially with there ideas.

Boring...

ok, it may have been helpful to some people, but the presentation was just boring and the music was AWFUL. In future, try to make it a bit less boring, maybe add some background colour, and improve the music. The stop button works, but takes several clicks, so fix that as well. Untill that, it's just boring as hell.

is good

good game fun, good music, in gereral good simulation. It will also help newbies a bit. One thing though, on the end bit were it shows your scores, is the points system for overall score or review mod score? If it's review mod score then I got the 151+, but if it's overall score I got 0-50.

Little-Rena responds:

There are two sets of points, the other score from the start is used to advance to mod I think, I've forggoten, lolol.

not entirely accurate

some of ot wasn't actually correct, or clear. Like on the flagging reviews bit on the slide with "gadgets", I had no idea what you were talking about.

On the quiz, got 10/10 with 1 retake, retook because number 7 was borderline and I got it wrong, It didn't focus on the flash that much.

Other then that, good lots of info, mostly correct, and good music. Well done.

Little-Rena responds:

There are flashes called Gadgets, like music making ones. Number 7, yeah well, if I had more room for that one, I could have gone on but I wanted to emphasize a point in there, forgot what I was thinking at the time.

pffffttt

Well it's a good idea but make the bombs bigger, they're really hard to shoot, and have less enemies on the screen at once. It just gets way too crasy way too quickly.

Stronger units

Well this is quite good, challenging, and fun, but I don't like the idea of your units getting killed. I think it would be more fun if your units were indestructible and the enemy could only hit your base. Otherwise it's just annoying they just elimiinate all your stuff and then pick off the base. Good music though.

Super enemies?

Seriously, what gave you that idea? Once I had like 3 super enemies that just kept going round and round for several laps, constantly wearing down my lives until I finally killed them. Get rid of them pls, they are waaay too powerful, even though there are only 8.

Aside from that, good stuff, I like the ideas of railguns and scissor towers, they are awesome, good upgrades thing, and the idea of enemies going in 2 rowws is good, as you can't one shot entire waves with railguns.

So overall, great game, good ideas and stuff, but next time perhaps add some more maps and get rid of the super enemies, and if you want some more tower ideas, I can certainly help!

boring

ok, I have a number of big complaints....

1. The frying pan is useless it can only do 1 enemy at a time
2. You can't upgrade the towers range
3. You can't upgrade the towers fire rate
4. There aren't any rapid fire towers
5. There aren't any towers with splash damage
6. There aren't enough towers
7. You can't see some of the towers ranges (like the ice tower) when they're on
8. Upgrading hardly does anything
9. There are only 3 maps
10. It doesn't tell you what wave it is in advance

....fix those things and it's sure to be a great game.

Awesome

A second clone of strategic mayhem? Suerly 1 clone is too many? I do see a lot of notable improvements though, so you can be forgiven. I like all the extra stuff like the catupult upgrades, you have to buy turrets at the start, etc, I would say that is the most notable, aside from the fact that there are different campaign missions instead of 1 preset. I also like the extra units. the only bad thing is the "premium upgrades". Why would we want to pay real money for upgrades? The only people who would do that are cheats, and if you were going to cheat, just look at an online guide, not pay good money! That aside, though, great sequal, lots more stuff, and it's not quite as simple.

Improvement: hmmm.... Well, more levels would be nice.... get rid of the premium upgrades and let players pay with in game money, not waste their own.... And perhaps maybe online multiplayer, if you're feeling ambitous, that would probably work.

I'm a normal person who likes turtles and Kirby. I'll add more stuff here whenever I want to say something new.
